Off to Venice

The Tales of Kitty Witty continue with the charming story of how Kitty Witty and her brother, Pogi Woggy, go off to Venice on a big travel adventure. They ride on a gondola, learn to eat spaghetti Italian style and have fun singing O Solo Mio, like the locals. In Venice, Kitty and Pogi explore the tiny streets, known as vias, and find treasures like pretty masks used during holiday celebrations. They love seeing pizza dough flying high in the air before it's baked into a perfect "pie" and they learn not to wander off when in a new place. Kitty Witty and Pogi Woggy find out there are many ways to travel, like riding in a water boat, called a "gondola." As they make their way through this city on the water, they see how people live in different ways in other places. Even though they are a bit afraid of travel, their "Lady" shows them that it is fun to go to new places and meet new people. Seeing new places and meeting new people can teach you different ways to think about things.
