Innsmouth bought the farm back in '28. But they came back with a vengeance as Captain Shad predicted they would. What had once been a small seaside village has grown into a huge metropolis where Squids are the upper crust of Innsmouth City society, Deep Ones are middle class, and humans (AKA Land Monkeys) are the lower class scum of the city to be toyed with as Squids and D.O.s see fit for their enjoyment, amusement, and entertainment. If you're human, Innsmouth City is not the place to be.
