This charming, illustrated children's story is all about a very real cat - Betsy May. She's an adorable, mischievous tortoiseshell kitten, who lives with her loving human family in Africa. Susie - Betsy May's human mummy - loves her kitten very much. So much so, in fact, that she treats her like a precious little doll. And do you know what that means? Yes, you've guessed it... she dresses Betsy May in all her dolly's clothes - even pantaloons, bonnets and necklaces. Sometimes, Betsy May loves all the attention (although the pantaloons can be a bit of squeeze to get on and off) and at other times, she has to just disappear and do her own cat thing.
