As events and emotions are fed into the cauldron that is our lives, distillation of memory, abiding love, cancerous hate, and the entire spectrum of experience burns until smoke rises and the true nature of who we are, what we love, and what we REALLY believe is painted in smoke and aroma. Intellect can be applied to the resulting distillation, but true self-honesty requires the examination of the soul, as our innermost being is revealed. Viewing the smoky haze I take snapshots and anchor the cloud-patterns by putting pen to paper.
