A challenge was posed to each of our writers group members to write a ghost story to then be published in book form. Ghost stories and tales of the supernatural have been popular for centuries, and living in a community rich with Victorian era structures, many of them haunted, it seemed a natural fit.Any proceeds from the sale of this book would go to the organization that helps fill the budgetary shortfalls for our library; that organization is The DeFuniak Springs Friends of the Library.Most of the writers in our group are unpublished, but still viable writers.Some of the stories within this book are true, some are based on truth and some are totally from the imagination of the writer.
