Great books for higher level students

This book has a good variety of topics and works especially well with higher level ESL students. I have used it for about a decade both overseas in Latin America and in the U.S. The students are really engaged by the material with the emphasis really on speaking more than writing or reading. There are exercises that are for individual, small group, and larger group work. The one drawback is that there is no audio or video tape and that some of the exercises might be a bit too difficult for some intermediate level students. There is also a teacher edition that I recommend that you get since it contains some of the information and extra material that you need in order to complete the exercises and not just standard answers to simple textbook questions.
