Take Off From Within by Ervin Seale

This has been an excellent book for me to read. This book was written in the early seventies. I Love the book the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and I Love all that Eckhart teaches. Ervin Seale said in this book in the early seventies what Eckhart Tolle and many other spiritual books have been saying in these later years. This book is short but very powerful. I have underlined almost the entire book. Going to the place in consciousness where I can be at peace no matter what is happening in the outer has been a true experience for me. It's the very difficult experiences that hold me so tight that I can't seem to let go of....this is what this book is helping me with. It seems like my life theme has been involvement with other people's addictions. I always find myself trying to influence the lives of people who are addicted. It has become my addiction Inspite of 15 years in Alanon. This book is really helping me to to just stop my own out of control behavior. I expect others to just stop and I cannot just stop. When I feel anger because a person is not doing what I think they should do or when I find myself wanting to "HELP" someone to live their life "RIGHT" instead I am stopping and I go and read this book and a feeling of ease comes over me as if just taking csre of my own business, my own life, my own spiritual growth is easy. I highly recommend this book but only for those who really really want to stop their own behavior and not the behavior others.
