Take A Deep Breath comes from a term her granddaughter using when she sees someone upset or is upset herself. Hope is something we all should be able to live by. It is the thing that dreams are made of for sure. Growing up in a coal mining town and seeing things change so much over the years gave a strong sense of hope for the future. These poems are written from the author's journey through fears as a child and grief for the loss of her mom. Healing and hope have to come together. Hope is the beautiful emotion and experience that comes as a reward from the healing experience.
