Tajweed Diagrams II covers advanced topics intended for students and teachers who have spent years learning the recital of Hafs from 'Asim by the way of Shatibiyyah. After Tajweed Diagrams I was published, Ms. Akyurt's students requested that she publish a similar book that covers more advanced topics. Topics covered in Tajweed Diagrams II include a brief history of the written and oral Qur'an, the connected and disconnected, the Feminine Haa, stopping with roam and ishmaam on words ending with consonants, advanced topics in medd, stopping on words ending with vowels, and special cases. As in her previous book, lessons are visually appealing. There is less text per page, and the information is boiled down to the essentials, which helps students focus and recall. Teachers easily see an overview of the lessons, and thus are easily able to present it to their advanced learners. Both teachers and students have space for taking notes and adding detail and more examples when needed.
