This book seeks to address two questions. The first is the question of what happens when fathers are absent from the lives of their children. This book is written from the female perspective so it focuses on the father daughter relationship. The second question it addresses is that of what happens when those who have had a fractured relationship come to know God as a father; does it change them and if so what does the change look like? The author hopes to share personal experiences that she has had to navigate in her own relationship with her father. She uses her love of poetry throughout the book to engage the reader from a different perspective.
