You can't go wrong with any Tahoe series by Borg

I've been a fan of Spot, Owen, Street, Diamond, et al for quite a few years. The stories are not just action-packed, but there are new things to learn as Owen works to find a solution. Each book is different and stands alone, but I think you gain from reading book 1 first and then in succession. Each book has a new perspective. Borg feels like an old friend who explores new thoughts in his books. All his books are action-packed and the female figures all have important roles as well. Spot is my favorite (as a Dane owner) but I admire Owen, Street, and all of Owen's cop cohorts. Todd now writes one book a year (to me, that isn't enough) but I always look forward to August 1 for his next new exciting adventure.
