Legend holds that in the Itomozawa region, if a funeral is held, one must never venture out alone at dusk before the seventh day after the deceased's passing. Breaking this taboo invites the "Sand Walker," the deceased's spirit incarnate, to pursue you. Yuhiki, a girl who violated this prohibition, sought refuge at the abandoned temple during twilight hours. Little did she know that what cursed her was something far more terrifying than the Sand Walker... To break the curse, the cause-and-effect behind the cursed object must be unraveled through storytelling. Thus, like a hundred-story tale, the girl and a young monk spent night after night in the dim temple hall, recounting one eerie tale after another about cursed objects.
