The Solanaceae family, which includes the potato and nightshade families, has made significant contributions to the human race via the production of several essential food and pharmaceutical plants, as well as ornamental plants that are economically valuable and possess medical properties. The most significant income crops are things like potatoes, tomato sauce, eggplant, and peppers, just to name a few. On the other hand, the family Solanaceae includes plants like Atropa, Hyoscymus, Withania, Capsicum, and Nicotiana. These plants were among the most significant in the early phases of the discovery of medical plant-based medications, and they continue to be significant in the herbal practise that is practised today. Tomatoes are connected to the plant known as atropa. It consists of over 2,700 species organised into 98 different genera. It is a genus of flowering plants that includes annual and perennial herbs, as well as vines, shrubs, and trees, and it can be found practically anywhere on the planet with the exception of Antarctica.
