One of the great lands of the middle east

This book about the country of Syria teaches people about the great cultural diversity about the country that not only Arabs (who are in the majority of the population) but also Kurds, Armenians, Turkmens, and the Jews. And also there is a very good chapter on the religions of Syria which include different sects of Islam which include the Sunnites, Alawites, and the Druzes and also different sects of Christianity which include Syrian Orthodoxy, Greek and Armenian Orthodoxy, Catholicism, and also Judaism.
