Many aromatic compounds consist of the Pyrrole moiety have stimulating applications in the field of drug discovery, industry and in biology. A number of methods have been reported for the synthesis of pyrrole derivatives from starting material such as - and -dicarbonyl compounds, isonitriles. nitroalkanes and nitroalkenes, nitroolefins etc.. The use of multicomponent approaches to its preparation will continue to be an imperative effort in the future."
