This is a card trick. However, it can be presented as an example of synchronicity. It can scare people. Any deck of cards can be used and it requires no manual skill. A complete deck of cards is acquired. It can be a borrowed deck. The deck is offered to a spectator and he is asked to shuffle the cards. Then the cards are spread out, face up, on a table. The performer looks at the cards and removes several from the spread putting them face up on the table on top of each other. He says this small stack is prediction cards. The remaining cards are squared and the helper is asked to cut it anywhere. After the main deck is cut, the cards in the small stack are counted. Let's assume there are eight cards. Then the performer holds the cards face down in dealing position. The helper is told he can choose if the top card is placed onto the table or switched with the next card and it is placed onto the table. This process enables the spectator to direct how the small stack of cards are ordered on the table. Then the cards cut to are picked up. Eight cards are dealt from the place the spectator cut the cards. They are placed in a small stack next to the cards already on the table. Then, a card from each stack is turned up. The cards match in value and color. For example, one could be the Ace of Hearts and the other the Ace of Diamonds. The next card on each stack is turned face up and so on. With each revelation, the cards match in value and color.Note that this book is now offered in paperback. A kindle version is planned.
