Good Stuff

Although this book is a little dated most of the information is still good. The author has done his best to cover as much as one can in the fixed size of this style of book. He covers everything from what lenses to how to find models. This book was published prior to the digital age so some things are film centric and a bit aged but foundations and fundamentals never go away. Yes the outfits on the girls are 80's 90's neon and the hair styles are oh so big but beyond that the information is good. With the price that this book is going for, I say why not add Swimsuit Model Photography to your library it has some good tips for any one looking to get into taking photos of beautiful woman at the beach.

Raunchywear Approved Swimsuit Photography Bible

This guide is somewhat dated in the swimsuit model shots. They look like they were taken in the 80s. However lighting principles for photography haven't changed and this makes this guide a great primer for anyone interested in swimsuit photography. For Raunchywear Swimwear and Lingerie this is our bread and butter. The guide gives a personalised account of swimsuit and bikini photography best practice and I've found it invaluable to improve my photographic skill. Particularly the indoors and studio based shots where lighting is crucial. Well worth the read and a good reference for critiquing your photographic work.

Nice Stuff

Interesting concept! I like the ideas and the photos, not to mention the beautiful models. I would have rated it 5 stars, but the swimsuits are too conservative.
