Sweet!

This is some of the best paranormal erotic reading I have done this year. I really got into it right from the get go and wanted it to go on and on. Overall, it was a quick, easy and very good read. I'd recommend it, along with Dark Consent (Vampire) (erotica) (kindle) (Dark Vampire Series).

Great Paranormal read, but make sure you like erotica.

I really liked the plot of the book; a protective hero who is trying to help the woman he loves regain her confidence and emotional strength back after living through a bad first marriage. This book includes her friends which were featured in previous books. This was the first book I read and it was very easy to read without having read any of the others, however, I am sure I might have enjoyed the references to those characters more if I had read those books first. I am offering a heads up that this book is carnal and not sensual. If you do not like true erotica, I do not think you will like this book. There is a deliberate plot line that Bianca created to allow her to bring in another man and all positions and types of sex are written about (a threesome M/F/M, voyeurism, and light/playful bondage). If you want to read something sizzling that will get you hot, this will do it. If you usually shy away from the sex scenes mentioned above you will be turned off.

The review by Jennifer Ray pretty much says it all. I would only add that if you have not read Lords of the Were...you might want to read it first. Both of these books are superb. Bianca has long been one of my all time favorite authors and she just gets better all the time! In this book she has created a fabulous sense of community between the Vamps, Weres and Fey. As Jennifer said, I can't wait for future stories about some of the supporting characters...like Matt...and Jena... and Morgan...and Ian...You get the idea!!

Sweeter Than Wine is the tale of Sebastian and Christina, whose story was first mentioned in Caught by Cupid: Forever Valentine. Bianca D'Arc tantalized us in that book with tidbits concerning this intriguing couple, definitely whetting this reviewer's appetite for more! In the timeline for her paranormal world, Sweeter Than Wine actually would come before Forever Valentine, but was written afterwards and is intended to be read in this order. The author writes both stories in such a way, however, that you will have no trouble following along, no matter which order you read them in. Sebastian's love and respect for Christina is evident throughout the entire book. Refusing to leave her side as she recovers, he not only helps her regain her strength, but is determined that she build it even more than ever, so she will be strong enough to protect herself from anyone in the future. In true chivalrous manner, he puts his own needs and desires aside until he is satisfied that Christina has what she needs to be strong, and to make decisions concerning him and her future without doubt. There is a scene in chapter two that I have to admit struck me oddly as I read it. I couldn't help but wonder at why the hero was handling things the way he was. Having long be
