Four fun and flavorful novellas of love and delicious recipes.

"Cupcakes for Two" by Birdie Etchison is the story of Cynthia, a caterer looking to escape her ex-boyfriend. She is hired by Max to run the Bed and Breakfast in his hometown, freeing him to move to The Big Apple and start a career as a financial advisor. Although the story was enjoyable, the characters weren't very well developed and several plotlines were left dangling. Wanda Brunstetter's "Blueberry Surprise" finds widower Lorna Patterson contemplating a return to college to get her degree. Evan Bailey is a classmate who is trying to win Lorna's affections through baking - he is taking the online cooking class taught by Cynthia Lyons from "Cupcakes for Two." Some of the dialogue is forced to provide background for the reader. But there are quite a few laugh-out-loud-funny moments. "Bittersweet Memories and Peppermint Dreams" is a touching effort by Pamela Griffin. It is the story of Erica, a young woman who was adopted as a child and just recently learned that she has a brother and a sister. She is going back to her childhood home to be reunited with her brother when she just happens to meet his best friend, Ron, on the bus! Their attraction grows, but Ron won't commit to a relationship. Can Erica change his mind before she returns to her not-so-wonderful life? "Cream of the Crop" by Tamela Hancock Murray is the story of Gwendolyn, a photographer who has followed in her brother's professional footsteps, and is now trying to escape his shadow and make a name for herself. Her first big client is DairyBaked Delights, a household name for tasty snacks. But Sebastian, the heir to the DairyBaked empire and corporate Vice President, doesn't want to hire a new photographer. When Gwendolyn lands the job, will she also land Sebastian's heart?
