The sequel to Sweet Decay. Once again Luke finds himself surrounded by murder.

She finished putting him in the computer and scanned the new card to his account. Then she scanned his two books. "Big King fan?" she asked, noting the titles, The Shining, and Misery.

"I am." He admitted. "I thought it would be funny and ironic, to pick these two." He paused. "Because it's snowing, we live in the mountains, and I also happen to live in a cabin in the woods...I guess it's funnier if you knew all that before."

She smiled. "I see how it's funny."

"Well, you have me at a disadvantage. You seem to know my name and have my number, but I on the other hand have neither of yours." He said before flashing a devilishly sexy smile at her and making her blush yet again.

Her cheeks burned brighter as she jotted down her number. "My name is Joey Tramyane."

When she handed him the paper, he took her hand, bent his head, and kissed it. Sending a rush of butterflies loose in her stomach. "It's been my pleasure." He said as he took his books. He swiftly walked out the door; leaving her breathless.
