Adrienne shows off her Barbéau's.

This film is based on a well-known comic book character. Lab accidents do happen. Doctor Alec Holland (Ray Wise) can attest to this. Of course, this is the standard "do not mess around with nature" movie, overlaid with a greedy, bad-guy Dr. Anton Arcane (Louis Jourdan). I think Louis gets a kick out of playing bad guys; he gets so enthusiastic. Alec gets all swampy and still gets the girl, Alice Cable (Adrienne Barbeau). He'd better hope she is not a vegetarian. The bottom line is that when you reach into the medicine cabinet, be sure you know what you are taking and do not get the plant food.
