It has been established through ample academic systematic research documentation that out-of-school suspensions (OSS) can increase student dropout rates, leading to juvenile delinquency, social nonconformity, and underachievement in adulthood if not addressed appropriately. This problem affects youth across all demographics and needs to be addressed urgently. In this review, we evaluate a program spanning three decades within the organization IN-AGAPĒ Family Life and Educational Center (IFLEC) that supports academically at-risk youth. The aim of this review is to draw attention to this prevalent issue and find a suitable system to address it. The information presented in this book can be useful for educators, administrators, disciplinarians, and related fields to enhance their sensitivity in supporting the academically underserved with a Christian balance.
