I fell in love with this book! The story centers around a police officer and a German Shepherd, whp has seen the worse aspects of combat. They find each other and discovery they both need to learn to trust again. They bond and heal together while solving a menacing crime. It is the two characters, man and dog, that form the heart of this book. If you like a good mystery or if you enjoy the interaction between man and dog, you will love this book. I have recommended it to so many people!
