The world is a tough place to survive in

Survivor by Diane Mayer Christiansen The dual narration of Aiden and Wren, two young people in love, but split by circumstances beyond their control. A powerful solar flare has damaged everything and is going to destroy the earth, as they know it. A cryotube has been prepared for all who can afford one and Aiden and Wren's tubes are located in different sectors. When they wake up after 50 years, that's when everything changes. They have to struggle to get from the cryobank to the governmental hub where their future lies. Aiden and his team were awakened before Wren's team. They will have to fight for their very rights to survive. It was a good book and I liked it. It is the start of a great series. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because, at about 40%, the editing of the book seemed to stop, wrong names were substituted and wrong words were used, for example, Souls was used instead of Soles. It does make a difference in the way the words are used. That part was disappointing.
