Survivor, Be Encouraged: There's Hope in Jesus

By Jeanette Amen

This book's purpose is meant to be a concise resource/study guide/journal to encourage trauma survivors and give insight for trauma supporters, using biblical principles along with advice from professional trauma experts and training resources.

You will learn the meaning of trauma, how to face the challenges it creates, and what tools are available to help heal the wounded heart.

Being traumatized doesn't dictate who you will become-a forever victim. Become an overcomer. Turn your pain into gain by helping others. You can learn to choose a life honoring the Lord by your words, actions, and deeds.

Jeanette Amen chooses to place her trust in the One who created her, in spite of her sufferings as a trauma survivor, for the purposes of glorifying her Abba Father-the Sustainer of her very being.

She believes God has a predestined plan for her and considers her life a boot camp-training experience to become a warrior for Christ, bringing hope to the hopeless.

Despite life's obstacles, she's been highly functional in the fields of education, business, and ministry, persevering when it seemed impossible.

"...As a clinician, I can't wait to work through this material with my clients."
