Surviving Against All Odds

How do you know so little about your mom? That was a question I asked myself after she died. Sadly I did know very little. I had bits and pieces of her life which left more questions than answers. As I was grieving my loss of my mom a nagging feeling permeated me to try to find out more. Starting with the limited information I had, I felt I was on a quest to find out all I could about my mom. What I found, astounded me. Finding out that almost 200,000 children were abducted from Poland. My mother being one of them. I decided to write about the effects such a trauma had on a 14 year old child.Here is her story.
