Her mother's lone offense was her refusal to submit her for Female Genital Mutilation proposed and arranged by her grandmother.Depending solely on her mother for survival along with her two brothers, the twins, initially after the financial cut-off, she decided to seek a scholarship. It turned out the scholarship was a scam to lure beautiful girls and ladies into human trafficking. She escaped the traffickers by Providence and sheer her alertness at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja.An excellent relationship built with one of her juniors in the high school resulted in her relocating from Abuja to Akoka, in Lagos. Through providence and dint of hard work, she passed the JAMB'S UTM Examination and UNILAG's Post-UTME screening and got admitted into the University Of Lagos to Study Law. She became a lawyer, started a non-profit organization, Girls Aid International to intervene, aid, and support needy girls and young women to reach their potentials and achieve their goals.The Barrister's story told in SURVIVE TO THRIVE provides inspiration and motivation to all facing challenges to forge on knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel.
