This book of poems is divided into seven parts: culture, nationalism, politics, disabilities, social issues, miscellaneous and religion. Inspired by a visit to "Gungulung", a squatting community in the St. Martin Depores constituency on the South Side of Belize City, Belize the author composed his first poem "Survivalist". He was able to visualize the people's determination to survive, form their own electrical system, pump water from the community pipes, and install their own "London Bridges" to get to and from their homes. This collection of poetry consists of many other issues that affect the Belizean community.
