Survival School

By Beverly Saphos

In the remote backcountry, a reserved city woman joins an all-female wilderness course seeking personal strength after a difficult breakup. Under the firm guidance of a seasoned instructor, she encounters escalating challenges that test her limits and awaken unexpected emotions.
Isolated tents, shared trials, and private trust exercises create a charged atmosphere where professional boundaries blur into something far more intimate. The instructor's commanding presence and progressive lessons force the participant to confront long-held assumptions about herself and her desires.
Tension builds through whispered rules, moments of restraint, and the slow erosion of resistance, leaving her torn between her former life and the pull of complete surrender. Emotional stakes rise as she grapples with identity, gratitude, and the intoxicating freedom found in yielding control. The story explores the intoxicating blend of vulnerability and power, set against the unforgiving beauty of the wild, where every decision carries the weight of lasting change.
