A Must Have For High School and College Graduates

This is a great book. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Lots of humor and great spiritual advice. Every high school senior and college student should have this book.

Succinct inspiration!

Very easy to read and brimming with seeds of truth. A great gift for any graduate (or anyone with a short attention span for that matter). It reminded me of a modern day version of "Proverbs" aimed at people approaching a cross-road in life. It is littered with sayings, illustrations, and truths that seem to pinpoint the human condition in times of turbulent transition.This book comes off very "Christian" at times but most of the advice is practical and wise (regardless of the religious bent). If you want to give someone seeds for hope during tumultuous times, this little book of "survival notes" is a great choice. If you doubt me, check it out before giving it away. You might just find more than you bargained for (I know I did!).

NUGGETS OF WISDOM

When our children leave home, we want to arm them with the tools of life, as much wisdom and insight as we can. They will find comfort and solace in this book. Now, I'll never be stuck for what to give someone knocking at adulthood's door.Along with the clock-radio w/snooze, this book should be standard equipment for everyone just spreading their wings.I'll also keep a copy for myself.
