Surrounded in Light: a mother's protection song

When you become a parent, your heart lives outside of you. You feel so vulnerable because the little people you love the most are out there in the big, open world. I created the song "Baby Girl" after my first daughter, Kaileia, was born during one of the first times she was away from me. This song is a melodic mantra meant to send protective light around your children to help keep them safe. This song helped me feel more at peace, and I truly believe it helped keep Kaileia safe. No matter how old our children are, we, as parents, want to protect them and keep them safe. This song can be used for young and old kiddos alike.
I created the adjoining book, "Surrounded in Light, a mother's protection song," as a visual accompaniment to this beautiful musical mantra. Like my first book, "Kaileia's Garden," the words of the book are the words to the song.
