The best laughter I've had in a long time!

After I would read a section of the book that made me laugh out loud I would have to read it to my husband who would share in my laughter once again! Jack has a way with words that make the characters and situations come alive! I recently loaned my book to my sister-in-law who had nose surgery and warned her not to laugh too hard and tear out her stitches!

Surgeon Fishin' is on the top of my best sellers list!

Breckenridge has done it AGAIN! I didn't think it was possible to find a book as funny as his first book, "Pumpkins Are Orange" but this is without a doubt the funniest book I have ever read. Some of my most wonderful memories are of the days when my own father and I went sturgeon fishing together. There is no other fishing like sturgeon fishing as you wait on the other end of the line in a constant state of anxiety! Surgeon Fishin' offers it's readers the time and space to get outside themselves and laugh until they cry. A truly "must" read and a great gift for anyone. I can't wait for his third book!

Laughed throughout the whole book

This book is a must for everyone to read, that enjoys laughing from cover to cover. Should be made a required reading book for all Fish and Game Departments of all of our States. This book is not just for the fisherman. It will be enjoyed by everyone that reads it.

A good read even if your not a fisherman/woman

This is no boring "How to catch a fish" book. It's an excellent story about the ups and downs of an average guy, with an above average style of getting in and out of sticky situations. I like the broard range of characters, most of which appeared in the first book "Pumpkins are Orange" Both my wife and I really enjoyed this book.

An excellent, funny, witty book. It made me laugh out loud.

This is an excellent read. The characters are real life with real life humour that had me laughing out loud. Whether you enjoy fishing or not, this book is a must as it reflects the morays of life from the witty to the downright funny. In the vein of PUMPKINS ARE ORANGE, the characters can be found in any neighbourhood and the remarks and wittisisms can be added to any repertoire. If it is humour that you want then go no further, poke the borax at officialdom and get away with it. A blueprint on how to enjoy life and value friendship (and how not to act at the opera), SURGEON FISHIN' should be added to your list of books to read this season.
