A must for any Vietnam vet who surfs

I got this book from Pat Farley when it first came out. I couldn't put it down and stayed up all night reading it. Farley is not a professional author, just a good story teller and a surfer, who did his duty and discovered what the system was like back then. I found his style simple but spell binding. Hollywood should give it a serious look. I hope writing the book was as catharic for him as reading it was for me. Ken Boyd
