Would 3M use a less than stellar training book.

This book was used by 3M corporate-wide as their first-line supervisory training text. It was then ordered as a "desk top guide" for its managers. Claimed by those that use it to be readable, understandable, realistic, providing good examples, usable. The 19 learning module design means that any supervisor or manager can pull it off the shelf, turn to the particular practice they are about to conduct, e.g. performance review, read about it and then hold the review. Quinn Buckner, Harvard Professor of Management declared this an excellent book. Students in Tulane library checked it out numerous times.
