Supervillain Lair Raid: Paper & Pencil Superhero Adventure Game

This game requires two people to play. One person acts as the gamemaster and the other acts as the player. The gamemaster draws out a map of a supervillain's lair including all of the following: a spawn point, numbered paths, traps, battle items, map items, supervillain battle encounters and an objective. The player takes the role of a superhero, who raids a supervillain's lair, in search of a way to stop a villain's evil scheme and save the day. The player starts at the spawn point and their goal is to traverse the map and make it to the objective. The player is not allowed to look at the map and must navigate the supervillain's lair with the help of the gamemaster. Whenever the player desires to move to a new location on the map, the gamemaster lists off a number for each available path the player could take. When the player selects one of the numbers the gamemaster listed off, that player travels from their current location to the location on the other end of the path they selected. The player starts the game with 10 Stamina and an empty inventory that can hold up to 10 items. The player must collect map items along their journey to overcome traps along the way, or lose Stamina and items from falling into traps and be forced to start back at the spawn point. The player must also collect battle items along the way to help increase their stats during battle encounters. During battle encounters the player has to face-off against supervillains controlled by the gamemaster in a game called Custom Superpower Battle. If the player loses a battle encounter, they will lose all their inventory items, have their Stamina restored to 10 and be forced to return to the spawn point.
