A swing and a miss

I almost feel guilty reviewing this book. You can tell that there was no editor for this book and that it was self-published. Having said that the book is almost unreadable. In the first 4 or 5 pages there are so many $5.00 words that it almost feels like the author was trying to impress the reader with his vocabulary. The first story involved some teenagers fooling around with a "spirit board" and bring back the boy's deceased mother and then can't get her to go back. It was confusing and convoluted. I think reading should be a pleasurable experience. I don't think you should have to work to figure out what is going on. Sorry, this book was not for me.
