I sat in the U.S. District Court of Michigan and watch my father lose out in life. It was his sentencing hearing and I would never forget the world, life Them white folks gave my Pop's life for shooting a fucking Police Dog. They say the law applies to everybody no matter who you are or what you do. Until the criminal justice become fair, I'm screaming fuck the law Over the year's I tried to numb my father's absence, to forget him, to pretend it didn't bother me, didn't work. There are some things in life you can never completely walk away from, as badly as you might want too. After my father was sentenced, my up' bringing wasn't easy. Crime became an everyday occurrence for me and when I did make it home after being released from Juvenile, I'd stay out long enough to fuck me a bitch-or-two then I'll be going right back to Juvenile. Around this time my Momma met Duke, a very smart entrepreneur from Houston, TX. Before he watched the street's chew me up Duke and Momma decided it is best that they moved me out of Detroit, MI. I've got such strong ties to the city of Houston, Tx that people forget I didn't move to Beaumont, Tx until I was fourteen. My roots are in Detroit, Michigan a city known for its lakes, Motown Record's, and booming Industry-GM. I came up on the Eastside off Manning and Gratiot in a two family-flat, my Momma, Pop's and me. But it was Parkgrove I called my home, Granny house became a rotating cast of hoodlums who could be staying there at any time-Gee, Tim, Thomas, Chris, Didi, Black 'Marco, Qwan, me, and Proof, all cousin's. Growing up hood banging was the thang, we took Parkgrove and shortin' it to (PGK)- ParkGrove' Killas. As much as I loved my cousin's, it hurt me to have to leave them. Everybody came by to see us off the day we left for Texas. As the U-Haul pulled off, I waved good-bye to family and friends. "Wow It'll be a long, long time before I see any of them again."
