Superhero Levi

Superhero Levi is a story about a boy named Levi who believes he is a superhero due to the fact that he can conquer obstacles like climbing the stairs and turning a bowl into a hat. We discover in this story that Levi's struggles and victories are different from those another four-year-old child might face. At the end of the story, Levi mentions that he has heard that he has a syndrome. He doesn't know what this words means. He concludes that if he works hard he can do anything. No matter what life may throw, he can take it because he's a superhero.This story teaches children about special needs and disabilities through a viewpoint that they can comprehend: a superhero that embarks on a life adventure, encountering obstacles and triumphs. When children are not taught about special needs and celebrating our differences, they might respond in a negative manner when they encounter a child who isn't like them. By teaching our children about special needs and disabilities, we promote a healthy and beautiful interpretation of the word "different" for all children are wonderfully made and gifted.In addition, Superhero Levi encourages children to never give up when they face difficulties. If they work hard, they can achieve.
