Superclasses in Homeopathy

The Superclass idea is the latest step in the evolution of ideas of Dr Rajan Sankaran. Starting with his concept of disease as a pattern of perception, he went on to originate the Sensation Method which focussed on the core experience of the individual and classified the patterns of such experience into Plant, Mineral and Animal kingdoms as well as into Miasms. He then discovered the WISE processes which are tools for directly accessing the person's core pattern. Within the Plant kingdom, Dr Sankaran started discovering the specific sensation of each family then of each order and of each subclass. There are 6 subclasses of dicotyledons. He observed that the central theme of each subclass of the dicotyledons had things in common with a certain animal group and a certain mineral group. This discovery led to the concept of Superclasses. Each of the 6 Superclasses has a specific dynamic response which connects remedies from the 3 kingdoms. Identifying the Superclass in each individual enables the practitioner to narrow the search for the remedy. The Superclass idea adds a new dimension to the understanding of remedies and people. This understanding has a far reaching and universal applicability and could become an important milestone in the development of homeopathy as well as in the understanding of humans.

Wow. Like putting on glasses which brings the fuzzy nature of homeopathy into sharp focus.

For anyone familiar with Homeopathy, you will know that remedies are often so complex that it's difficult to sift through EVERY possible remedy for a person and choose the best fit. Rajan's newest theory on understanding remedies is genious. He theorized 6 different types of people from the completely self contained closed within a shell, up to the dominant leader who launches head first into a fight before considering whether or not to engage. He found that plant remedies could be classified within these 6 types, but not only that the mineral and animal remedies (as well as nosodes, and hormones, etc.) fit nicely into these categories as well. The language clients use to describe their malady points to one of the classes, the Super and Sub classes, and from there he sorts them into Animal/Mineral/Plant, and from there he also considers miasm.. which nails down the remedy quite neatly. I appreciated the method of explain, show examples, explain more, give a case example, and then reveal which remedy was chosen. Repeat and repeat for every single class. There are many punctuation oddities, as well as a good number of remedies explained in the chapters but left out of the index... I actually found it quite a delightful challenge to add in remedies to my index and "edit" the book as I went along. Please don't let this editing situation turn you away from the book. The genious is a genious because his mind works so quickly to deduce a theory and to proove it. YOU be the one who comes along behind and pieces together where he left loose ends, and REALLY learn the idea he is revealing. It will be worth your time and effort.
