About the Author Damianty Chivukula, a New Jersey native, works as a Special Education Paraeducator for the Hillsborough Board of Education in Hillsborough, NJ. Chivukula received her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Media Studies from Rutgers University and earned her associate's degree in Special Education. She is a full-time mother, educator, and writer. She has authored articles in the past; however, her focus is on writing children's books that inspire others to achieve their goals.
