For Shonda, fairytale endings were only for children's books and never for her. Her life starts to take a turn for the better as she finds solace at New Life Worship Temple. Shonda becomes one of the most dedicated members of the church. Everything was going well until David Johnson joined the church. As they work together on several different projects, sparks begin to fly between them.

Shonda fights tooth and nail to keep from failing for him; however, she is failing. Just as she is about to take a leap of faith, Shonda receives life-changing news that leaves her at a crossroads. Will Shonda find Sunshine even on a Cloudy Day?

Elle Robs is a native of South Carolina, where she currently resides with her husband. Having overcome many obstacles in her life, she has always found peace when her pen meets paper.

In 2020, she fought a battle she never thought she would have to fight: Stage 1 Breast Cancer.

Currently in remission, she has started a nonprofit called SC Cares to help with educating and assisting individuals who are diagnosed with Breast cancer. Currently, she holds a Bachelor's and a Master's, both in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. In 2018, she obtained her Doctorate in Christian Counseling. Her motto for life is 'There are no dead ends in life, only where you stop trying. Don't stop keep moving.'
