Many of the recipes in this book are excellent and easy to make. However, "quick" for 1987 is not the same as "quick" in 2007.
Good, simple recipes with a little exotic flair!

This is the cookbook I use every week. There are great recipes for dinners that are a little more interesting than what you'll find in Betty Crocker, etc... My favorite is Pasta Alla Puttanesca. It is a very simple pasta with red sauce that can be made with all canned ingredients (no defrosting!), and it tastes very fresh and homemade. Its a great cookbook for busy novice cooks who like to eat well.
