I had a lot of questions when I came to the faith as an adult. Some were relevant, others not so much. But one thing I knew for certain was that I had missed out on anything and everything that I would have learned as a child in Sunday school, and now I had to play catch up! If you have come to the faith later in life and they will not let you sit in and color with the third graders, this book is for you. If you are a Sunday school teacher and need a goal of what your kids should be learning, this book is for you. If you want to be knowledgeable enough to answer your children's questions at lunch on Sunday, this book is for you. If you are a teenager who is now expected to leave the fun and games of the youth and participate in adult discussions, this book is for your parents so that they can give it to you as a graduation present in the hopeful expectation that you will read it just to make sure that all the basics have been covered and you are now prepared to go forth and lead your life as a fully discipled follower of Jesus Christ. (I must say their expectations are awfully high, and they probably should have read the introduction before giving it to you. But hey now that you have it you may as well give it a shot.)
