Green's Mill Campground was a favorite vacation spot for the Slusser family. The campground and bridge were at the lower end of Little Niangua River. As the river flows east, it dumps into the Lake of the Ozarks. Momma and Daddy always reserved their favorite campsite on top of a little knoll where there was a good view of the bridge and river. They called their knoll "Slusser Hill". It was so much fun. The family could swim and fish, go on hikes and play in the sun. And best of all, Daddy didn't have to go to work every day. He had more time to spend with the family.
