Fun book for girls age 9-12

Finding a book that is appropriate for my ten year old daughter has been quite a challenge. She reads above level but doesn't enjoy fantasy or "dark" books but fun, contemporary books about girls her age. She absolutely loved this book - she couldn't put it down! She said it was very funny and reminded her of her own friends. I recommend this book to any young girl who loves to laugh out loud while she is reading.

Perfect for PreTeens

I've purchased 3 books for my nieces and granddaughter. All of them love reading a book written by someone their own age. I have to admit that I enjoyed reading the book also. It's well written and fun to read. This is a book that will encourage young girls to read. I'm looking forward to the second book by this young writer.
