Summer Thomas thought she had it all; a great job as a professional in a major marketing firm, an amazing fianc? she adored and a life she loved in New York. But after a devastating realization comes to light and crumbles all of her illusions, she decides to do something drastic to change her life. She buys a rustic cabin in the backwoods of Alaska sight unseen from the internet. Within a matter of days, she is off on what she considers to be an exciting adventure that she has idealized since her childhood with her loving parents, whom, she has since lost to tragedy. However, as things often happen, upon her arrival at the cabin she soon realizes she might be greatly in over her head. With the loving, yet very nosy nature of a few odd but kindhearted townsfolk, things start looking up. Elmer, the old man who runs one of the very few businesses in the nearest town, puts her in the path of Nick Walker, the local contractor and things quickly transpire at a pace that takes them both by storm and leaves them both feeling a little whiplash. This fast paced and unconventional romance is a fun and unserious take on modern hookups and love connections that are not traditional in occurrence.
