Book Overview

The most grueling challenge of Raine Smith's equestrian career looms before her--the Olympic Games. Little does she realize that she's about to face greater perils in the arms of a stranger than she's ever found on the back of her horse. Cord Elliot is a man trained to deflect disaster and his mission is to ensure that Raine Smith remains untouched by sudden gunfire at the Summer Games. Yet from the moment Raine Meets Cord's ice-blue glance, she knows he's more hazardous to her heart than a sniper's bullet. Falling for a man who answers to the call of intrigue and holds secrets that can never be shared is to endure the broken promises, unexplained absences, and constant danger that come with his profession. But in the fiery passion of irresistible love, a summer to remember seems worth any risk.

THE BEST BOOK EVER!

I am a LONG time Elizabeth Lowell fan. I love ALL her books, I keep them all and re-read them often, but this one is my all-time favorite. I have TONS of books here in my house, and Remember Summer is the one that is worn ragged b/c i read it so often. I love the characters Raine and Cord, love the chemistry between them, and i love the connection Raine has with her horse. All of Elizabeth Lowells books lodge themselves in my heart, but this one has been my personal favorite since the first time I read it. Trust me, You'll love it...those who don't shouldnt be reading romance in the first place. I wouldn't give ANY of Lowell's books a bad review. They're all great. And this one is the greatest! ENJOY!

Remember Summer THE BEST

Of all the many Elizabeth Lowell books I have read, this is my all time favorite. The love story between Cord and Raine touches deep inside your heart. The description of the Olympic Event makes you want to jump on a horse and start riding. I have read this book about 20 times and will probably read it about 20 more.

don't pick it up unless you have time to finish it

this is one of those rare page turners that catches you up in the characters lives and keeps you caught in their web. although the storyline borders on the completely far-fetched, it doesn't matter once you've entered to story. another great book by lowell.

Fantastic!

I read this book in one day, unable to put it down even to go pee. Sure, the storyline is farfetched, but the book is well written, suspenseful and INCREDIBLY romantic. I found Raine a tad annoying, however. The man was trying to proctect her from assasination and all she could do was gripe about his gun and beeper! The horse is great and Cord is a dream.

This is the book being rewritten as "Remember Summer".

A synopsis of the story can be found under the comments on "Remember Summer". In my opinion, this is one of the author's best earlier works and I can't wait to see what she does with it.
