When I left behind a decade-long career for what seemed like a dream job, I thought I was going to have the perfect balance of time to dedicate to my family and see them through not only the struggles during the school year, but the blissful summer season as well. Convinced our days in the sun would be filled with new journeys and activities, I set off on a path to share my time with others in a brand-new way.
