Good start, mediocre finish.

I really liked the development of the characters and their relationship. I felt like the plot was fast moving but the ending just left me disappointed. It was a good read but not my favorite.

Disappointed

The only reason I finished this book was because it was the only thing with me in my treestand. I was not happy with character development or how characters were introduced. It was rushed and too much was shoved in not enough pages.

It's like Weingarten had a checklist

I really hated the book. I finished it to see what happened, but it's as though Weingarten had a checklist of thriller topics she wanted to write about, which all seemed forced and pretty contrived. It also wasn't well written. I personally don't think the characters are very realistic and overreact to EVERYTHING. This is my first Weingarten book but based on this one I'd say she has a hard time writing realistic characters and thoughts. I'd say skip it.
