Suicidal ID Nation is a short story about a diverse group of economically disadvantaged citizens who come together when all hope is lost. A Suicide Hotline entices them to turn their despair into joy. Together they launch a plan to retaliate against a system that has not delivered on promises and enslaved them. Along the way they form a family, regain their humanity and find a reason to hope for better days ahead.

The Other Tales of Woe are stories of 21st Century economic despair and inequality. In Douche Boy, a brash young hedge fund manager acts with impunity toward everyone below his class. A poor grill cook, with the personal motto of Get on with It lashes out at women he deems inferior creatures. Where there is Death there is Hope follows a beaten down factory manager who goes to extreme measures to compensate for the corporate pressure he faces. The actions of these three male characters ripple forward to impose their will on a homeless young woman on the verge of a positive opportunity in Elixir..
